January 2013 Director of Radiology, DOCTORS HOSPITAL PARKWAY+TIDWELL
Duties Performed: I oversaw daily operations of the entire
Radiology Department to include: Diagnostic, CT/MRI, Ultrasound,
Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography. After the closure of one of
the hospitals I oversaw the daily operations of CT/MRI,
Ultrasound, Diagnostic and Cardiac Cath. I am responsible for
planning, organizing, directing, and controlling resources and
program delivery for the Radiology department, including
developing and implementing policies and procedures, quality
improvement, compliance, competency assessment, patient care,
budget development and control, personnel
administration/staffing, and procurement of new equipment. I
supervise patient flow and staffing. I ensure facility
technical and documentation expectations are consistent with
JCAHO and meet Regulatory requirements in accordance with the
State Rules and Regulations.
Until Hurricaine Ike, I oversaw two separate Hospital settings.
Both were equipped with IP, OP and fully operational ER and
Operating Rooms. Both hospitals are with their own budgets and
operational guidelines per JCAHO and State Regulations.

Duties Performed: Organizing schedule, making sure all
equipment is up and functional, and performing QA. Went daily
to patient's homes and nursing facilities, took X Rays and EKG's
then transmitted back for interpretation.

Duties Performed: Set up the entire CAT Scan Department
including state certification, ordering of equipment
and supplies. Responsible for billing codes and scanning all

with Physician on all current technologies and recommending
