Balanced supply and demand of multiple parts inventories of IBM Vans. Monitored and

analyzed parts availability forecasts, out of date inventory, and inventory levels, ensuring

on time delivery at the lowest cost for all of the IBM Canada locations.

• Provided maintenance parts utilization numbers for IBM technicians which improved

ability to satisfy customers with first time fix.

• Led a Team to develop, price, pilot, sell and implement a process which reduced

maintenance parts inventory and increased parts availability while burning off old

inventory. Maintained optimal supply balance by tracking usage using various

forcasting tools and programs.

• Served on a Project Management implementation team in the role of Subject Matter

location would have a successful audit.

• Carried out location inspections and recommended adjustments that implemented

than 1% Gross Variance on a country inventory value of $90 million and a targeted

parts availability of 85%.

• Managed country inventory divestitures upon the sale of the Printing and Telco

businesses. Both were carried out on time and cost projections were calculated within .

5% of actuals.

• Provided education and training seminars to lower cost, on-site technical support

personnel, while successfully establishing the protocol for the sub contracted company

to handle all inventory and maximize customer satisfaction.

Supply Chain Specialist (2003 - 2005)

Negotiated with IBM in the US to consolidate the management and accountability of all

parts activity to ensure minimal loss.

• Stepped in to lead the IBM Asset Protection Program to monitor Serialized Parts which

were deemed to have proprietary information. This program minimized patent

infringement loss and became an early warning system for potential losses.

• Tested Warehouse Management System (WMS) enhancements prior to being installed

to ensure all system requirements had the functionality required.

Software Product Planner (1997 - 2003)

Coordinated and planned Software Marketing programs for post warranty software

support. Worked in conjunction with US peers to develop pricing strategies for product

support and support delivery.

• Planned optimal product support for Canadian marketplace to deliver Windows,

iSeries, pSeries, Intel, xSeries and AIX software support, including requisite pricing

matrixes to provide support, while balancing requirement to ensure Gross Profit

expectations.

• Introduced new Software Offerings for End of Life software products so that Large

Enterprise customers could maintain software support until software upgrades could

be developed and installed.
