This project at MSDE is aimed to track information of high school graduates taking up higher education. This

information is tracked by US Federal department to utilize State Funds. This accomplished by sharing data

between Maryland Higher Education Commission and Maryland State Department of Education.

The data from various student information systems is collated to support their internal analysis and reporting

purposes.

This project deals with Anti money laundering system of Merrill Lynch. AML project replaces existing 4

different systems into one consolidated system. The first logical component in the new AML architecture is

the data acquisition subsystem. The primary function of this subsystem is to acquire the data needed for AML

surveillance. This data will originate from source systems in the different divisions of the firm: ISG, Zurich,

IM and GWMG and will be loaded into consolidated Legal & Compliance (LC) Data Warehouse. Main

subject areas that Application uses are: TRANSACTION and supporting reference data ACCOUNT, PARTY,

PARTY ROLE, PRODUCT, BALANCE and ACCOUNT GROUP.

the globe.

FALCO requires the best-cost analysis & sales Evaluation system to compare the cost trends in different

manufacturing locations & sales trends in different warehouses and liaison offices. The FACSAS provides the

information on customer’s buying patterns and trend over a period of time. The Production Cost & Sales

standard reports are generated automatically. The software is designed to provide ADHOC reports as per

customer requirements. The business development team analyze for further improvement of their business by

providing adequate information about sale leads & business conversion ratio.

The data is stored on the oracle database in all manufacturing & liaison office locations and stored on flat files

in warehouses. Each location at the end of the day shall upload data into central server(s). We have provided

Data Warehouse so that they could maintain historical data at central location for integration; analyze business

in different locations, according profit areas, which could serve a purpose of a DSS for decision makers.
