. "Implementation of a Low cost automation system for small scale

industries using PIC16f877A Based PLC" (as a part of final year

project in BE)

Description: In this project we design and implement a low-cost PLC

using PIC16f877A microcontroller. This PLC provides 16 digital I/Os

and 16 analog I/O at a price of Rs 1000 only. Further to create a cost-

effective automation system for any small scale industry we interface

this PLC with open source SCADA software.

PLC. RTD is used as a temperature sensor.PLC performs the controlling

operation hence controlling the opening and closing position of the

auxiliary and main burner of the gasifier.

Description: This project is used to minimize the electricity usage of

a home or office by utilizing solar energy to the maximum. In this

project we have automated the switching between solar energy and

electricity supply board. By using this module we convert ac inverters

to ac and solar inverter.

e-technologies)

Description: This is an industrial project. In this project we

automate the tool selection for 8 position tool changing lathe

machine.PLC performs the controlling operation.

working condition or not. Using this tester each gate of the digital

IC can be tested.
