Choir Director, I was responsible for researching,
choosing, and teaching all music that the choir sang. I
supervised many volunteer and semi-professional members of
both the parish choir and cantors and was responsible for
interviewing, auditioning, evaluating, and hiring musicians
and soloists. In 1998 I was responsible for educating the
newly formed New Parish Organ Committee and I designed and
supervised the installation of the new 15 rank,
$130,000.00 Peragallo Pipe Organ serving as the liaison
between the parish Organ Committee, the Pastor, the
Archdiocese of Newark, and the organ builder. I also
attended bi-weekly staff meetings of which I was a standing
member and I served as a resource person for the parish
staff, liturgy team, and the parish school.
