Aircel - 3G Chennai ( Dec 2010 - April 2011 )

Responsibilities:

< Planned & Executed successful launch of AIRCEL-3G CHENNAI.

< Worked as a first point of contact for the field team .

< Submit single-site acceptance reports for rollouts

< observing KPI Report on daily basis and tuning N/W parameters accordingly

e.g. PSC planning, cluster and RNC boundary planning, cell naming rule,

intra/inter-frequency neighbors planning, definition of drive routes,

etc.

< Setting up MS processes for KPI monitoring and maintenance.

< Post processing drive testing logs using TEMS Investigation, Mapinfo

professional,Gladiator to analyze layer 3 messages to resolve call set-

up failures and dropped calls, recommending parameter modifications,

Responsibilities:

< Managing Airtel Bharti 3G/2G network to ensure performance is within key

performance indicator targets with optimization of 7000 Cells of Andhra

Pradesh circle (3G)

< Analyze and troubleshoot of 3G KPI parameters like RRC setup rate, CS AMR

setup rate, CS 64 Setup rate, PS setup rate, HSDPA Setup rate, Drop

rates, RRC failure reasons, Call drop reasons, interference, Soft

Handover Success rate, CS AMR Hard Handover Success rate, And PS Hard

Handover success rate.

< Drive Test report generation & analysis which includes Pilot pollution

Troubleshooting, Missing neighbors,call trace analysis etc

< RF Coverage optimization using antenna tilt and azimuth fine tuning for

optimal coverage overlap and reduction of pilot pollution by EcNo and

RSCP improvements. Recommendation of neighbor optimization and physical

optimization to achieve desired Pilot coverage.Enhancing Data uses by

optimizing network Data Parameters.

< Troubleshooting of worst-performing cells. Analysis of counters and

< Various Trace Analysis (GPEH (general performance event handling), UEH)

< Propose and approve parameter change to reduce call access failure drop

calls (radio link failure timer, poll timer, number of out-of-sync

indication, etc.), and improve handover behavior.

< Submit weekly reports to summarize RNC performance and detail current and

ongoing optimization activities.

< Neighbor statistics analysis for neighbor trimming for optimum IRAT & 3G

Traffic.

< Creation/development of in-house tools (excel macros, perl scripts) to

speed up analysis of performance data (i.e scripts, macros, etc).

INDOSAT (Indonesia ) OJT (April 2,2012 - MaY 4,2012)

Attended optimization OJT for Indosat (Indonesia) with xParameter Optimi

tool.

Responsibilities
