Profile
I am an outgoing and confident individual who likes a challenge. In
previous jobs I have worked both as an individual and as part of a team. I
am punctual and have an excellent attendance record. I also have the
initiative to work on my own and to make decisions on the spot if needed. I
like being set a challenge and being able to complete it successfully. In
previous jobs I have worked hard to achieve both personal targets and team
targets successfully.

Voluntary Teaching Assistant
Here I was a voluntary teaching assistant one day a week. I was also a play
worker in an after school club. During this role my duties including
providing entertainment for children in the playground, helping to provide
snacks and towards the end of a shift tidying up and setting up for the
next school day. In the class room I enjoyed seeing the children happy and
develop their skills which rewarded me as I knew I was doing my job
correctly. Also the children felt they could come to me with confidence if
they had a problem or needed help. By assisting the teacher I developed
different ways of connecting to each child's individual needs and I learnt
new skills and ways to enhance the children's learning.
