Alexander Hamilton Bridge Project and Highbridge Interchange Ramps Rehabilitation I-95 Corridors Between Amsterdam Ave In New York County and Undercliff Ave In the Bronx County
Major construction bridge rehabilitation project of nine bridges including the Alexander Hamilton Bridge (AHB) and all associated ramps on the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95). The work includes typical bridge project elements such as demolition work, MPT including detours and work zone closers, reinforced concrete foundations and bridge pier construction, pile driving, new steel girder, floor beams, diaphragms, stiffeners, installation of new bearing, new deck joints, reinforced concrete slabs, barriers, pile driving (installation of soldier piles, deadman etc.) railings and guardrails, drainage, electrical utilities, lighting, ITS elements, sign structures etc.
Experience included:
• Review Rehabilitation of Alexander Hamilton Bridge project drawings.
• Review approved shop drawings for field steel erection and installation inspection.
• Perform inspection of concrete pavement, asphalt pavement and electrical work to ensure conformance to NY Standard Specification and contract documents.
• Perform field office calculations for contract payments.
• Maintain daily work report with operations of the day, manpower and equipment.

New York State Department of Transportation Project No. 261122 Corrective and Preventive Maintenance of Masonry Retaining Walls New York, Kings, and Richmond Counties
Experience includes
Daily Review of Project plans
• Inspect masonry rehabilitation work at various highway locations throughout New York City. Inspection of demo, removal and reconstruction of existing parapet and wing walls up to specified dimensional limitations of plan drawings.
• Inspect contractors methods of demolition at existing structures for rehabilitation and the work procedures utilized during demolition for public safety. Inspect placement and installation of PCC panels for 1.5 mile location at BQE EB/WB. Inspect and monitor the contractor's work methods and safety practice of maneuvering the hoisting of installing PCC panels inside lane closures. for safety of moving traffic lanes.
• Inspection/monitor the contractors installation and maintenance of Geo-textiles for protection of soil erosion, landscape, tree areal root protection etc., in accordance with the New York City Parks Department Arborist guidelines..
• WZTC-Report and communicate lane closures and openings to the appropriate NYCDOT Authority and/or Port Authority Bridge/Tunnel Authority before construction work start up and immediately after work stop.
