To Whom It May Concern:
I would like to submit an application for the Budget Analyst position
posted on your company’s website.
I am currently a Supervisor for the Program Services Department at Consumer
Credit Counseling Service of San Francisco. In my current role, I manage a
team of up to 50 Certified Consumer Credit Counselors who provide financial
education to clients in the areas of money and debt management, housing
delinquency, and first time home purchasing. Based on the information the
client provides, the counselors will offer basic money management
techniques, information on how to manage their credit and debts, home
retention options, first time home purchasing, and foreclosure
alternatives. Some of my responsibilities include managing the daily
appointment schedule, facilitating ongoing training and counseling
improvement, running productivity and quality reports, writing performance
reviews and providing support for employee growth.
My past employment history involved over seven years of managing small to
medium groups of employees, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, and
setting attainable goals. I have spent over five years working in an
entrepreneurial environment multitasking in several roles, mainly
operations, accounting, and marketing. I also have four years mortgage
experience in loan origination, processing, loan modifications, and
qualifying loan applicants. I possess analytic skills to evaluate
financial statements, balance budgets, and make specific recommendations. I
am self motivated, a team player, and have strong business development
skills that I have used to solve problems and improve efficiency and
productivity.
I am interested in utilizing my skills and experience to assist with
achieving the goals of the company. I am confident that my experience and
background has prepared me to handle the responsibilities for the Budget
Analyst position. Currently, I’m also pursuing Financial Planner
certification and will endeavor to complete any required prerequisites for
the position.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future, and thank you in
advance for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Emery Lewis, Jr. Emery Lewis, Jr.
