Duration: July 2012 till date.

Description:

BEM (Barclays Enterprise Middleware) is a framework developed by Barclays

as middleware server using IBM WMB and MQ for message transformation and

routing. In addition to this the BEM framework also provides the mostly

commonly used services. This framework is implemented for each and every

country according to the needs of the customer. The new requirements are

implemented by creating message flows and deploying along with BEM

framework instance.

Barclays Portugal required iPads as a medium for customer management which

included account opening, signature validation, required transfer of

images, investment option, etc. Services related to customer activities

where developed using WMB (BEM Framework). Application which would help in

image upload, delete & replace was developed using Java J2EE.

Responsibilities:

. Understanding client requirement and participation in designing of the

flows.

. Identifying key areas and suggesting solutions.

. Coordinating with various application team for requirement gathering

and understanding of contracts between systems

. Development of the service flows according to the design and unit

testing of the same.

Duration: January 2012 till date.

Description:

The need of the application was to create a middleware for the purpose of

integrating many disparate applications. Some of them were legacy

application like mainframe. The client needed to remove the dependency of

CMC used for collection of defaulted cards.

The tools used were IBM WMB, IBM MQ and Oracle as a back end database.

Responsibilities:

. Development of the message flows as per the requirement provided by

the client

. Interaction with the client for better understanding of the

requirement.

. Creation and testing of UTCs and peer testing.

. Deployment of the Broker archive in the environments for testing.

. Defect fixing and enhancement.

Duration: December 2011 to January 2011.

Description:

Development of an application which would be as a single collated package

of commonly used components and services. Various projects would use this

product and modify them according to their needs.

The tools used were IBM WMB, IBM MQ and Oracle as a back end database.

Duration: October 2011 to November 2011.

Description:

The already developed application for Barclays Operational Client for

country UAE needed support in terms of changes, enhancement and up

gradation. A team of 2 peoples are involved in the maintenance activity.

The application structure employs BEM architecture as discussed earlier.

The project involved changes in the codes, configuration settings for

services, testing and deployment of the code in various environments.

The tools used were IBM WMB, IBM MQ and Oracle as a back end database.

Responsibilities:

. Fixing of defects and implementation of changes suggested by the

client.

. Documentation of the changes and preparation of release documents

required for deployment.

Duration: March 2011 till October 2011.

Description:

The requirement was to implement retail banking facilities for Indian

customer using the BEM framework details provided above.

The tools used were IBM WMB, IBM MQ and Oracle as a back end database.

Client Name: AO France

Duration: February 2009 - Dec 2009

Description:

Shared Service Center Portal is a web application which is an interface for

tools like IBM Clear case, Clear Quest, HPQC, etc. Application provided,

for various users, an interface for commonly used activities and allowed

users to easily add and modify the project details. The application enabled

users to have a user interface to interact with these tools requiring

minimal knowledge about the tools.

> SSC Portal enabled users to modify the project details as well as

allowed SSC support team to create and maintain the data related to

projects.

> Application is developed in JAVA employing Struts 1.3 and ibatis 1

framework. The database used was oracle 10g and application interacted

with UNIX server for clear case and Windows server for other tools.

Responsibilities:

. Effective interaction with client to understand the functional

requirement in development of the application.

. Intensively worked with development team to construct the architecture

of the modules related to the tools.

. Working aggressively to deliver the code within timelines and

Description:

SPRING is a web application developed for AO NL for allowing internal

users as well as external client users to create purchase request for

placing orders for resources required by the projects.

Application is developed using JSP Servlets and YUI for UI designing.

The application uses MS SQL server as the back end database and Apache

Tomcat 5.5 as application server.

Responsibilities:

. Involved in analyzing the functional requirements of the application.

. Effective interaction with client in understanding the functional

requirement.

. Defect free delivery of the code within defined timelines.

. Reviewing of the technical solution proposed for a change in existing

functionality.

SPRING - SCC (Sept 2010):

Developed a web service and successfully deployed on production server for

transferring data between SCC and Atos Origin Spring application.

Hibernate OS Cache (January 2009):

Developed a small application for measuring the effective usage of second

level cache when hibernate framework is used in the application.

RIS - CYG(May 2009):

Developed POC for RIS CYG using Struts 2, hibernate 3 as the framework,

MySQL as back end database and TOPCASED as the UML Editor for creating UML

diagram and generation of skeletal JAVA code.
