At UPS I package scan and load boxes in trailers. Working in a fast pace environment. At UPS I
would keep pace with the flow of packages going in to my trailer. If I saw one of my peers in
need of help I would go and assist them. There we worked as a team to get the job finished.
St. Louis Job Corps: Carpenter, St. Louis, MO 11/2010-01/2012
At St. Louis Job Corps I studied carpentry, there I built the walls to the counseling offices. We
hung dry wall and ceiling tile. I also remodeled the roof of the academic building. It was there
were I was the lead carpenter and won carpenter and leader of the month awards. Provided rough
carpentry, framing and finish work for many assignments. I participated in the erection and the
dismantlement of scaffolds. I also installed ceiling tiles, and put up doors in Wellness Center
Participated in the Finish Roof Covering installing shingles on roofs bunkers. I also participated
in the installation of solar panels at the Computer Village in St. Louis Mo
Fed Ex: loader/warehouse10/2009-03/2010
At Fed Ex I worked as a package scanner and loader. I worked the overnight shift and my job
duties were to load boxes that weight up to 70 pounds upon trailers. My goal each night was to
fill two trailers a night. There I would go above and beyond to get the job done.
