Work H istory:
CURRENTLY TEACHING ITALIAN AT GEORGE WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY and
GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY (levels 1 to 5) since August 2010.
Responsibilities include: plan, set and evaluate grade test, exams and assignments, organization
and preparation of Syllabi and lesson planning.
Since August 2012: Course Coordinator: supervise, evaluate, support, organize, help teacherswith
their work. Create and teach workshops for the Italian faculty.
At both GM and GWU I use texts that have a strong technological component to them (film
clips, web exercises, audio box, DVD, CD, forums on the class Blackboard) and, in addition,
I use other audio and video materials in my classroom such as: Power Points presentations,
YouTube and audiobooks.
April 2009 > today Italian instructor for “International Centre Associates Language
School”, at FSI (Department of State and Pentagon), DLS (Diplomatic
Language Center) . Taught all levels of Italian Language.
Responsible for training diplomats relocating to Italy. Taught beginning
and intermediate Italian as well as Italian culture’
