Dewas Industrial Water Supply Project, 30 MLD, India
Acted as Lender’s Engineer for International Lending Agency to carry out technical due diligence of this project.
Project includes river intake structure, treatment plant, 3 stage pumping and transmission of 27 MLD water across 122
km. Undertaking review of existing project to identify reasons for its failures. Reviewing detail design report for
rehabilitation project and advising the lender on its sufficiency for enhanced flow conditions.
Sea water intake and cooling water system for 500 MW Thermal Power Plant, Bhavnagar, India
Responsible for developing tender drawings to detail general arrangement drawings for sea water pumping station
(5800m3/hr – make up water) and cooling water pumping station (39,000 m3/hr – recirculation water). Review of
hydraulic and civil design of and onshore piping for intake and outfall.
Dilmunia Health Island, Bahrain, Ithmaar Development Corporation, Project Manager
Responsible for hydraulic and civil designs of 400lps sea water pumping station and rising mains. Design proofing of
potable water supply (WaterCAD V8i), sewerage system (SewerCAD V8i), irrigation network (WaterCAD V8i).
Scheme review for surface water drainage. Report writing for each component. Additionally coordinated civil,
mechanical, electrical, structural, designs for all components.
Abu Dhabi Water Supply, Abu Dhabi Distribution Company, Water Engineer
Deputed in initial phases of the framework in July 2010 to Abu-Dhabi office for a period of one month. Worked for
project scoping and preliminary design for DN 300 Interconnection to Kashoona Pipeline from Ajban Defence Camp
supply line, DN 900 Interconnection from Mafraq Flyover to Khalifa City an Interchange, and network for Al Wathba
Farms. As part of the exercise, undertook client meetings, meetings with other consultants and, site visits.
Asset Reliability Modelling of Sewage Treatment Works, UK, Anglian Water, Team Leader
The project involved reliability model building of total 756 Sewage Treatment Works. Models were built in an excel
based program, and simulations were run to predict likelihood of asset failure leading to process failure and ultimately
service failure for a period of 25 years.
Responsible for training and managing a team of 9 environmental engineers working full time on the project, co-
ordinating with the team in Cambridge, resource planning, work allocation, issue resolution, trouble shooting and part-
time model building. The project was delivered successfully earning several client plaudits.

Gems and Jewellery Park, India, Dec 2005 to July 2009, Gujarat Hira Bourse, Water Engineer / Project Manager
Project involved 15 km roads, 24 MLD water supply with 21 km HDPE water distribution network, 18 MLD sewerage
network - 19 km, 12 Km storm water drain, and treated sewage recycling network - 33 km 100 Hectare industrial park.
Responsible for planning, detail design interdisciplinary co-ordination and drawing preparation for above project
components. Undertook report writing for concept report, DPR, and document structuring for a complex multi
component item rate tender for the project.
Naroda Water Supply, Aug 2005 to Dec 2007, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), Project Manager / Team

Project involved design of water distribution network for areas of Gurukrupanagar - Kubernagar (0.5 Sq. Km, 39,000
Population, 7.16 MLD, 10 Km DI distribution network) and Naroda T.P. – 2 (1 Sq. Km, 22,000 Population, 3.97 MLD,
8 Km DI distribution network)
As team member was responsible for design calculations, modelling in EPANET for distribution network. Undertook
planning and designing of the pumping station and rising mains. Assisted in pump selection and manifold design of
pumps. Prepared General arrangement drawing for pumping stations.
Sardaragar Sewage Pumping Station, Aug 2005 to Dec 2007, AM C, Project Manager / Team Member
The project involves two pumping stations at Sardarnagar and Ambawadi of 9 MLD and 7 MLD, rising mains of 4.5
Km and 3Km respectively and submersible pumping of 260 to 630 m3/hr.
As team member was responsible for population projection, sewage estimation, and design of both pumping stations.
Undertook design calculations for screen and grit chamber, economic sizing of rising main, pump sizing. Prepared
General Arrangement Drawings, Detail Project Report and tender documents.
