Academic Project Details:

Project name : Automation of Bearing Monitoring and Lubrication

System for industries.

Team size : 4

Description : I am one among the members of my project. In

industries the motor and alternator having large shaft with bearings are

used. The bearing that keep rotating the shaft are lubricated continuously

with oil. These bearings are one of the critical parts of the industry. And

they develop friction due to a variety of mechanical reasons. Normally a

person is employed to dedicatedly deal with these bearings just to monitor

them and take necessary precautions when there is a fault this is purely

done manually and any carelessness on the part of the worker leads to

breakdown of the bearing. The project proposes to automate this process and

without any manual labour. This in greater increases accuracy and the same

can be used to provide an analysis of multiple bearings of the industry.
