The companies have gotten cooperation from LKIM owned subsidiary of Majuikan Sdn.

Limited. (MSB). Cooperation is defined as permission to use the slipway facility operated by

MSB located in Kuantan. The Slipway had started operating in 1997, while the co-operation

between the MSB True Shipyard began in 1998. To date, the company has made the overhaul a

number of vessels belonging to the Fisheries Department, Royal Malaysian Police and the

This research already accepted as proceeding journal conference for MAMIP12 as poster

presentation entitled “Study of Mechanical Properties and Microstructure of Cocos Nucifera

(Coconut) Coir Fibres”.This project is funded by the Ministry of Higher Education under the

Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS). This research also consultation and

verification by UPM Mechanical Dept. (Prof. Ir. Dr. M. Sapuan Salit).
