Quality Control – Starbucks Coffee Bag Aug 2011 – Dec 2011

The aim of the project was to improve the packaging of starbucks one-pound coffee bag to improving product quality and customer

satisfaction. We set out to learn the effects of process parameters on the key packaging quality characteristics.

Carried out least squares regression analysis using statistical software MINITAB.

Used the application of response surface methods for process optimization.

Time Series Forecasting – Gross Domestic Product Aug 2011 – Dec 2011

The project was to present real-time prediction of GDP and forecasting their performance with the use of univariate statistical model.

Carried out ARMA modeling and Joint optimization using MATLAB. Forecasted and predicted the GDP with mean absolute error of 0.38%.

Operations Management – A.T.Kearney Jan 2012 – May 2012

The project was to recommend the Hyperion software into existing working environment of A.T.Kearney to rationalize their spreadsheet

method into a single forecasting, planning and reporting system thus integrating HR, Operations and Finance systems.

The Hyperion software was recommended after detailed study of company’s business, current forecasting tools, its impact and t heir cost

benefit analysis.
