at cell sites I was fortunate to be involved first hand with PIM

analyzers used to find bad coax, antennas and connector issues.

? Responsible for on time design and placement of over 100 iDEN cell

sites in the Bay Area, some requiring unique stealth designs to

overcome the many obstacles presented in the zoning permit process.

Additionally, worked side by side with Optimization Engineers to

integrate these newly designed sites into the network; provided

pathways for promotions into management for these System Performance

Engineers.

? When Public Safety RF interference became an important issue;

Volunteered to become the Point of Contact for all Regional mitigation

activities while serving as the local interference mitigation expert,

resolving hundreds of issues for: Cities, Counties and Agencies

through out Northern and Central California.

? Headed up implementation of 900MHz radios, required frequency

clearing and noise floor interference mitigation for the entire

Northern California area, these new frequencies added in meeting

important re-banding dead lines

? Frequency re-banding activities required close hands-on involvement

with; Fresno Mobil Radio, Ray's Radio, Crystal Communications and La

Rue Communications, resolving all interference issues to hasten the

process.

? Appointed SME "Source Material Expert" for any and all interference

issues to iDEN 800MHz, 900MHz and CDMA 1900MHz issues.

? System Performance; When interference issues were low, I took on

additional responsibilities for System performance, working closely

with site technicians resolving equipment performance issues including

adding capacity where needed.

provide cellular service along the California Coast Highway.

transceiving sites in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

? Created and implemented a unique Micro Cell design approach

eliminating the necessity of deployment of additional sites, saving

several hundred thousands of dollars in deployment costs.

? First with GTE Wireless to utilize PG&E high-tension power towers for

cell site antenna placement.

? Built and implemented 5 cell sites within a 9 month time frame,

thereby retaining the license for the areas.

? Considered an Expert Engineer at City and County zoning hearings

throughout the Bay Area, with a "No denial" track record.

? Achieved a GTE first by designing antennas inside columns of a church

tower.

? Pioneered the use of three-in-one antennas resulting in quick design

approvals by local jurisdictions.
