3M Coordinator

Responsible for managing the ship's 3M Program. Trained over 3,000

personnel and lead 64 Work Centers in the proper administration of PMS and

MDS.

. Constantly provide in-depth and up-to-date training to all work

centers resulted in 99% completion of all scheduled maintenance.

. Effectively revised the procedure for submitting 3M Reports to reduce

paperwork and man-hours.

. Led the team in providing comprehensive NTCSS/OOMA life Cycle Support

over 10,000 NTCSS trouble calls enabling over 250 Pacific Fleet units

to operate at peak Logistic and operational readiness.

. Certified over 3,000 test case of Viking and Charger software upgrades

for NTCSS suite and successfully launching these capabilities for the

Naval Forces (FDNF) ships.

checklists to serve as guidelines for assessments. Trained over 600

personnel from various FDNF ships and led the 3M team in conducting 30

Baseline Assessments and 26 Assist visits.

. Due to limited qualified manpower, hand pick and trained selected

personnel to assist in conducting assessment on various FDNF units,

saving the Navy over 30,000 dollars in TAD and travel target funds.

. As a Gas Turbine Team Leader, planned and flawlessly executed 22

Tactical Training Strategy Events and assisted INSURV Inspectors in two

events.

USS CURTIS WILBUR DDG-54 MAY 1997 - MAY 2000

LCPO / Program Manager / Training Team Member / 3M Coordinator

Responsible for the ship's 60 Hertz and 400 Hertz Distribution system. Also

manage major Engineering Programs.

. As Engineering LCPO and acting Main Propulsion Division officer.

Coordinated a diverse and complex set of Main Propulsion evolutions and

repairs including Dynamic and Static over-speed checks on all four LM

2500 GTM's, Fault Current and Reverse Power relay checks on all three

GTG's.

. As Engineering Training Team Member. Diligently trained all EPCC and

Switchboard Operators. All were evaluated SAT during Mid Cycle

Assessment and Underway Demonstration.

. Trusted Engineering Officer of the Watch (EEOW) and Exceptional Program

Manager. Effected significant improvements in the administration of

Engineering programs; Tag Out, Electrical Safety, Heat Stress and

Quality Assurance programs. Each was evaluated "EFFECTIVE" and

contributed significantly to the ship winning the 1997 and1999 COMDESRON

FIFTEEN Battle Efficiency (Battle "E") award.

Auxiliary Equipment.

. Brilliant Technician and reliable in crisis. Demonstrated extraordinary

technical and leadership skills in directing repairs to the ventilation,

lighting, and electrical distribution system after an extensive fire in

Main Engineroom #2. Restored 95 percent of the electrical damage within

12 hours of the casualty

WESTPAC. His in depth training to the Work Center Supervisors and
