Relevant Experience

• Retired from L.A.W.S. Construction in 2006 as a superintendent.

• Have been doing seasonal work for consulting engineering companies on DOT PMI. Projects in district 8.

• Have done Buildings, Site Excavations, Roads, Utility contracts, Wetland Mitigations, and a few small Bridges.

• Managed diverse construction projects from inception to completion, effectively resoling complex design problems on site.

• Oversee employee and team management, Enforce policies and safety standards.

• Developed solid relations with subcontractors, Coordinated with subs and clients to insure completion of projects on schedule and budget.

• Read all blueprints as Civil, Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVC, Wetland.

• Hold a Level 3 in Transport Engineering Technology/Highway Construction. Passed level 4 but as of this date have not been Chief Inspector on a DOT Project.

• Certification Number 92215 Valid through September 1-2014

• Used the DOT Site Manager Program for all daily reports.

Popli Design Group Engineering 6/18/2012 - 11/09/2012

• Senior Inspector on Pavement resurfacing (24-miles) Routes 17 and 208 Project D-262019.

• Lay-out of the saw cutting to excavate blow-ups in the existing road surfaces.

• Excavation of the blow-ups and replacing of asphalt in these areas ready for the milling operation.

• Milling, Paving, of main line and shoulders.

• Shoulder back-up

• Traffic Control (WTZC)

• Tracking the asphalt loads, temp of the asphalt and tack, clean-up.

KC Engineering and Land Survey PC. 4/11/2011 - 12/13/2011

• Senior Inspector on Bridge Maintenance Project D-261418 Routes 684 and 287

• Responsibilities: Milling and repaving at Bridges under this contract, Class D Concrete on bridge piers and columns, Bearing removal and replacement of both the fix and expansion. Plus the jacking for this item. Block pavers. Amor joint repairs, WTZC traffic control. Sand blasting and the prime and painting of the bridge steel.

• Staples Pavement Reconstruction. Montgomery N.Y. Milling and repaving Roadways,Parking Areas, Demo of the Docking Concrete Pads, Replacement of the concrete pads, Lowering of P.I.Vs. at the docking pads .Placement of Bollards, Striping of parking and roadways. Dredging of 2 Retention Ponds and reshaping of drainage swales. Tracked all change orders.

Tec-Tonic Engineering 7/2009 - 11/2011

• Senior Inspector on several DOT. PMI. Projects D-261373-RT-28, D-260789 RT 6, D-261102 RT 203, D-261213 RT28.

• Responsibilities: Milling operation, Insure that the cut was as per contract and specifications. Cleaning of the milled areas prior to the shim asphalt and the tack being placed, Checking the amount of tack used and the temp. Also on several of these projects had stripping responsibilities as stop bars, crosswalks, center line markings. Tracked equipment and trucks being used.

Town of Harrison N.Y. 7/2008 - 5/2008

• Construction Consultant. The town had several projects going on at one time and needed someone to see that the work was being done as per specifications and contract documents. This work entailed replacing of sewer lines, water, gas, placing new structures for sewer and storm lines. Re grading Main Street for storm water control, Beverly and Highland Roads reconstruction. Also the town was constructing a Building for Seniors. I checked on this Daily and reported progress to Anthony Roberson .

Berger Lehman Engineering 4/2008 - 7/008

• Senior Inspector Started on Route 84 with the milling crew, Checking depth of the cut and tracking loads removed from site. Also laid out areas that called to be test cored and bagged them .
