Extended Work Skills
Bathroom remodeling: I can accomplish complete bathroom tearouts
and install new toiletries, walls, floors, and what plumbing and/or electrical need
be.
Minor cover up repairs: I can troubleshoot most dings and chips to
furniture or walls and repaint or stain. I also have contacts in a cabinet shop who
can also make repairs.
Cabinet Installation: I have grown up with cabinet makers in the family and
have often lent a hand installing them. Along with the installation, I can also shoot
crown molding, side molding, and kick plates for those cabinets "made to fit". I feel
totaly compfortable with saying everything will be level.
Lightweight Electrical: I have done some side work with a friend who is
a certified electrician. We ran wires through a home while it was being built over a
about year. We also put in recessed lighting, outside lighting, plugs and switches,
etc.
Lightweight Plumbing: I can install sinks, toiletries, water heaters, dish
washers, etc. I also have experience with sprinkler/drip systems. I can also fix
minor clogs.
Cubicle Installation: I have taken apart, moved, and rebuilt different cubicle
systems such as; Herman Miller, Steelcase, Kimble, Haworth, etc., new and used.
I know how to read the layout prints and accomplish complete installations,
including work surfaces, overheads, power strips, etc., to the customers
satisfaction.
Lightweight Carpentry: I can build strong wooden frames and I've made
wooden ramps for disabled accessability. I know how to use carpentry tools, etc.
and have also put up walls, hung wall board, and built some cabinets.
Most importantly, I know my skills and their limitations, and will be
honest if something is a bit over my head.
