Master's Thesis : Interoperability issues between Creo and SolidWorks
-Because of the existence of multiple CAD systems for a single project and the
need to bring models created in di fferent CAD systems together into one assembly,
interoperability issues between these multiple CAD systems become critical here main
concentration on SolidWorks and Creo.
Sustainable Hoop-House Construction redesign
- High winds can damage crop and create a problem for farmers, to make hoop
house sustain high winds we have redesigned the hoop houses. We have used
SolidWorks to calculate the wind distribution on the frame.
Working with virtual reality system
- The Virtual Assembly Design Environment (VADE) is a Virtual Reality (VR)
based engineering application which allows engineers to plan, analyze, and evaluate the
assembly of mechanical systems.
Life Cycle Assessment of paper plates vs. Ceramic plates
- A life cycle assessment is an analysis of energy, material, and waste flows in the
life time of a product. The life time starts from raw material acquisitions to ultimate
disposal. Here we used both GABI and Sima Pro Softwares.
Re designing parts to reduce cost and lead times
-Here we used Boothroyd Dewhurst DFMA software. DFM is the general
engineering art of designing products in such a way that they are easy to manufacture .
DFA is a process by which products are designed with ease of assembly in mind.
Surface Modeling using Bezier curves
- A Bézier curve is a parametric curve frequently used in computer graphics and
related fields. Generalizations of Bézier curves to higher dimensions are called Bézier
surfaces.
Smart homes project for elderly people
-Smart homes for elderly people is an integrated, smart platform that enables the
elderly people to perform by themselves activities they were not able to do before and
which are important for their daily personal life.

Municipal Solid Waste(MSW) to Electricity Generation is one of the major
waste-to- energy technologies. This technology presents the opportunity for both
electricity production as well as an alternative to land filling or composting the MSW.

Description
Municipal Solid Waste(MSW) to Electric ity Generation is one of the major waste -to-
energy technologies. MSW can be directly combusted in waste -to-energy facilities as a
fuel with minimal processing, known as Mass Burn; it can undergo moderate to extensive
processing before being directly combusted as Refuse Derived Fuel. This technology
presents the opportunity for both electricity production as well as an alternative to land
filling or composting the MSW.
