Transplant Specialist - IG Manager – National Markets
Managed business plan to lead internal clinical teams to implement
transplant protocols based upon each center’s specific needs and
expectations. Typical patients included those diagnosed with such things as
cystic fibrosis, heart failure, kidney failure, and other organ complications.
Typical patient care management included extensive home infusion, IVIG,
inotropes, antibiotics, TPN, and all associated medication delivery devices.
Worked with appropriate medical team to assure patient was prepared to
receive needed medications via PICC, mid-line, port, etc prior to being
released from hospital/center. Developed relationships with numerous
large transplant centers, organizations that support organ transplant,
pharmaceutical companies, and nursing centers to ensure all aspects of pre-
transplant and post-transplant home care is following proper protocols.
Account Manager – North Carolina Markets
Expanded and developed new relationships within the current Carolina
market. Relationships developed and maintained with MD offices, clinics,
and hospital case managers at strategic locations throughout North
Carolina.

Responsible for coordination of infusion services for patients at five local
hospitals. Responsible for educating referral sources and patients
regarding our services and insurance coverage criteria. Responsible for

Infusion Therapy Manager/Account Manager.
Developed infusion department for existing home health agency.
Responsible for marketing these new services to physicians, hospital case
managers, clinics, cancer centers and infusion pharmacies. Responsibilities
included daily management of all patients under our care, coordinating with
appropriate MD for specific patient needs, providing in-home infusion
nursing as required, and coordination of patient financial responsibilities in
conjunction with appropriate health care insurance provider.
