Supported 49 Winter-over science and support personnel at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole
Station in the USAP. Provided guidance to less experienced USAP members in addition to
advising station management on leadership issues and interpersonal relationships. Balanced,
reconciled and maintained station cash funds.
• Transitioned the South Pole area of operations of the USAP from Raytheon to Lockheed-
Martin (LM) during the contract hand-over period. Processed employees from LM parent
company to five separate subcontracting teammates. Established lines of communication and
points-of-contact for each teammate while training subcontractors on existing standard
operating procedures.
• Conducted numerous mediation sessions to facilitate cooperation and working relationships
between station members. Provided support and guidance to station management as a
