PURPOSE STATEMENT

Aspiring for challenging assignments and a growth oriented career in

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) with an organization of repute which

SYNOPSIS

< 7 years of rich experience in Axapta as functional consultant. Expertise

ORGANISATIONAL DETAILS

Currently in Dubai, working with Supreme group which is having 1000+ AX

users (From May 2011 to till date)

- Implemented Projects module for Supreme's Construction team

- I have integrated a 3rd party application to fill employee time

sheets. Employee hours are uploaded in Project Hour journal and posted

as a monthly activity.

- Designed three OLAP data cubes for General ledger, Inventory and

Project module. It is used by various teams for their data analysis.

- Functional support for entire Supreme group in the areas of Projects,

Finance, Trade and Logistics, Human resource and Work flow.

- Experience in Fuels business, Construction business and Food services

business.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN - Supreme group Dubai (May 2011 to till date)

Project title: AX 2012 implementation

Industry: Fuels

Role: Functional consultant

Requirement: AX 2012 implementation for Supreme Fuels

Activities performed:

I analyzed AX 2012 for the modules General ledger, Cost accounting,

Procurement and sourcing, Accounts payable, Sales and marketing and Sales

ledger.

Provided demo and conducted CRP for the Finance areas like Prepayment,

Letter of Credit, Account structures etc to a big audience.

I Analyzed various Supreme's requirements and raised Change Request for the

gaps.

Project title: Logistics Construction Projects

Client: Internal

Requirement: Project module implementation for the construction team.

Activities performed:

Analyzing various Project type to fit in Supreme's requirements

Preparing the Proof of concept (POC)

Structuring the Construction inventory items

I have designed a 3rd party application for the employee time sheet

(currently used by 125 employees). Time sheet is exported from 3rd party

application and uploaded in Project hour journal for posting in AX.

Project title: Financial OLAP cubes for GL, Inventory and Project module

Activities performed:

Designed three cubes for General ledger, Inventory and Project module

Functionally mapped whole of the AX tables to the OLAP cubes

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN - Ignify Inc (Nov 2007 - May 2011)

Project title: Expense management (Workflow configuration)

Client: Asurion Japan (http://www.asurion.com)

Industry: Telecom

Role: Functional consultant

Requirement: Asurion has 7 types of expenses i.e. Business entertainment,

Marketing research, Meeting expense, Domestic business trip, Overseas trip,

General expenses & Taxi. Asurion was looking for applying expenses online

through the Enterprise portal and to have their expense routed to the

appropriate hierarchy level for each of their 30 organization sub unit.

Activities performed:

Workflow configuration and setup for their entire hierarchy levels in all

organization sub unit.

Setup various slabs of approval limit in each of their organization sub

unit. Around 1500 steps were created to achieve their entire approval

matrix setup in Microsoft dynamics Axapta.

Project title: Inventory valuation

Requirement: Currently Inventory valuation is done outside the system for

every month and they want to do that in AX

Activities performed:

Studying Asurion method of Inventory valuation and comparing with AX method

of Inventory valuation

Customized approach of cost addition to Production order as Overhead cost

to adjust the production cost based on the various factors

Customized approach of cost addition to Purchase order as Fright charges to

adjust the Purchases cost based on various cost involved in purchase

process

Project title: Human resource management

Client: Ignify software private limited (Internal project)

Requirement: To implement Human resource module and manage the Employee

information and activities in AX.

Activities performed:

Employee data maintaining

Absence setup and Leave policy setup such that Employee absenteeism can be

applied by an employee and can be approved online by the approver.

Requirement: MACH has a global operation across countries, it requires

Requirement: MACH on expanding its operations globally, it acquires many

new companies and it needs the acquired entity to be in Axapta, so we

migrate the new entity from their old accounting system to Axapta.

Activities performed:

Requirement gathering based on the new entity's business model

Brain storming on the level of customization required to perform the

migration and receive sign off on the same

Receive the master data in the required template and upload the same in to

Axapta

Receive the opening balances and transaction data in the required template

and upload them into Axapta, receive signoff from the respective personnel

Project title: DTE-Agreement

Client: Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com)

Role: Program manager

Requirement: Microsoft has various types agreements for selling its product

to different Customer / Partner, hence need to create a stream line process

for all 5 Regional Operating Centre (ROC) to have those Agreements

centralized.

Activities performed: The BRD document is thoroughly studied for various

types of agreements Microsoft offers for Customer/Partner and created the

FS created based on BRD.

As a PgM I created the MPP and maintained co-ordination between the four

sub-project teams.

Designed the 'DTE-Agreement' module

Designed an external 'Self service' portal exclusively for the partners to

login to the system

Designed an internal 'Company Config' portal, which is exclusively for

Microsoft's internal users

Project title: DTE-Customer care

Client: Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com)

Role: Functional consultant

Requirement: On implementing new order booking system, Microsoft used

multiple sources for creating organizations (both Customer and Partners),

resulting in a huge amount of duplicate organizations in their main global

data base, hence need to create a tool to clean up the database to have a

clean data in place.

Activities performed: Studied the way the duplicate organizations were

created and designed a two step methodology to cleanup that huge data base

i.e. first, an automated process runs to group the duplicate organization;

second a manual touch is presented to confirm duplication.

Step 1: An 'MSO tool' is designed in the system to filter the global

organization master table and discrete out the duplicate organization

Step 2: A searching tool is designed to search and display the duplicate

organizations. The user needs discretion to confirm duplicate organization

and send it for merging OR mark it as, not a duplicate organization OR mark

to keep those organization remain duplicated in the system

Project title: OMN-Charting

Client: Office Media Network(OMN) (http://www.officemedia.net)

Industry: Media (advertisement)

Role: Functional consultant

Requirement: Understand the business model of OMN and create an automated

system for booking advertisement slots and optimal usage of inventory

during the peak time and off peak time.

Activities performed: Understood the functionality from the BRD document

and created the functional specification for the same.

Given a structure to their business model, as their existing system was

more a manual process and not properly defined.

Designed the logical object model for the required functionality and

created one of the largest databases in AX with the provision of advance

booking of Advertisement slots for one year in advance.

Scheduled daily meeting with the client for close follow up on the

project's progress.

Frozen the client's requirements and achieved FS signoff in a short period

of time, also performed intense DIT for having minimal errors after the GO-

LIVE.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN - Sonata software limited (May 2006 - Oct 2007)

Project Title: AX Development & Documentation - Product enhancement through

feature development

Activities: The process of sending out a row or the whole form from an

Axapta system to an external system in the form of a XML

document (i.e.)

Project Title: Promissory notes and Bills of exchange in Accounts payable

and Accounts receivable

Activities: The business cycle of drawing, honoring, re-drawing and

remitting is thoroughly analyzed and a knowledge base is

created.

Project Title: Cost accounting module

Activities: A study of whole Cost accounting module is done and along with

deriving the logic in allocating the cost to various

dimensions (i.e.) Department, Cost centre and purpose.

Project Title: Print management - Purchase order, Sales order, CRM quotes

and Project Invoices

Activities: Print management feature is yet another additional

functionality in Microsoft dynamics Ax 5.0 by which,

we can incorporate customized information in every invoice.
