I worked independently on subassemblies, printed circuit boards, and chassis which would include the installation and modifications, over-haul, troubleshooting and repair of electronics equipment, and systems of high complexity.

After being absorbed into the URS Corporation from my previous employer DS2, I returned to my original job in the AN/GPN-20 Radar cost center and helped to salvage two radar shelters, one from Vance Air Force base and the other from Keesler Air force base after which I performed duties on the AN/MPN-14K Mobile Radar Navigational System doing mechanical, electrical, and final troubleshooting, repairs, and inspections on the Precision Approach Radar (PAR) Transmitters, High Voltage Power Supplies, Airport Surveillance (ASR) Receivers, Local Control Indicators, Controller Power Supplies and other LRUs. I initially worked on the AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder Radar System for over two years repairing and refurbishing the Antenna Transceiver Group (ATG) from beginning Evaluation and Inventory (E&I), to reassembly, electronic testing and to the end of final completion. This work was performed under the supervision of Shelly Sherman. 570-***-****.

I then performed work on (ATCALS) Air Traffic and Control Systems (ATCALS) AN/TPN-19 and the AN/TPN-22 radar systems. Shortly I was moved over to utilize my skills working on the AN/GPN-20 radar system for nearly five years in cost center 5R340 (ATCALS Components) for the Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Directorate.

I served as Mobile Maintenance Depot Chief (MDM Chief) For the TDY trip to Keesler Air Force Base in Boloxi, Mississippi in the spring of 2010 refurbishing and overhauling two of their AN/GPN-20 radar system shelters to complete operational condition on behalf of the Tobbyhanna Army Depot.

I like working from manufacturers’ specifications, schematics, block diagrams, and technical orders for testing, troubleshooting and repair of a wide variety of LRUs, circuit boards to component level, and complex systems.

• Analyze, diagnose and repair defective Electro/Mechanical assemblies and systems using various mechanical and electric test fixtures and instruments. Document and report all defects and initiate corrective and preventative action process.

• Assist Quality Assurance in the creation and maintenance of test, calibration, qualification, acceptance procedures and documents.

• Physically organize and maintain work orders and their respective parts while open and assigned to the area. Complete all documentation required by manufacturing process control.

• Review all contracts for accuracy and feasibility. Modify basic units to established quality control and specifications.

• Followed guidelines to ensure meeting I.S.O. 9000 requirements.
