ENGINEERING MANAGER
The engineering staff of nine draftsmen and technical support people reported to me.
We were responsible for drafting for all standard and customized products,
as well as technical support for marketing.
SHOP MANAGER
Managed and directly supervised the manufacturing operations and personnel (100
plus employees, two shifts) during a company reorganization.
INSIDE SALES MANAGER
Duties concentrated heavily on organization of inside sales, quotations, pricing policy,
scheduling, competitive analysis and interdepartmental coordination.
MATERIALS CONTROL MANAGER
I developed the companies first MRP system which allowed the company to transition
from a job shop operation with 3M in annual sales to a fully developed production
facility shipping 12M – 15M in products annually. Departments reporting directly to
me were purchasing, shipping, stock rooms and production control.
