Duties and Responsibilities:

. Manage the network performance of the 2G network using the

statistic data. Maintain and enhance the network quality and

performance of the 2G network by statistical analysis of the

key performance indicator (KPI) for both existing NSN and

newly Swapped Out Huawei cells.

. Deliver radio network design and performance improvement

services; activities include radio network planning,

performance monitoring and measurement, capacity planning and

forecasting, and radio network optimization to meet customer

objectives and performance targets.

. Attend, Conduct presentations and participate in RF meeting

. Prepares drive test route for new site, Cluster Optimization,

. Performs post processing of DT log files, determines causes

Assistant, Map Info Tool and Google Earth.

. Conducts Drivetest for coverage extent, call quality,

sites.

. Conducts site audit inspection of newly integrated sites for

orientation, antenna type, configuration and tilting.

. Performs Cluster Drivetest / Walktest to determine coverage

holes, handover performance and overshooting / spillage after

every activity such as rehosting, change out, LAC split etc.

. Performs benchmarking to assess network performance against

other networks.

. Performs fault isolations and first line troubleshooting of

TRUs thru Huawei iManager M2000 to ensure quality of service

and network accessibility. Also performs parameter checking

and consistency of the network.

. Recommends / implements BSS parameter modifications,

frequency retune, neighbor addition / deletion and performs

antenna adjustments such as re-panning and down tilting for

coverage, quality and KPI improvements.

. Recommends half-rate activation, TRX upgrade and additional

SDCCH to resolve congestion.

. Recommends repeater installation (indoor and outdoor) and

special solutions (split sector) to improve indoor

penetration and additional road coverage.

. Coordinates with other groups do dispatch Trouble Tickets for

immediate resolution of BSS elements fault alarms.

. Attends weekly department meetings regarding Admin and

Network related concerns.
