Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a reputable and well-trained law enforcement professional who was a

dedicated former public servant for twenty years. Presently, I am seeking a

transition into a career that would allow me to utilize my specialized

skills and education in the areas of Investigation, Leadership,

Administration, and Personnel Training and Development.

I am a proactive individual, eager to join a corporate or public

administration environment where I can contribute to organizational

objectives and continue to achieve professional growth.

Mu experience includes the following:

- Evaluation of criminal, fraud and theft investigations, security,

interviewing, verbal and non-verbal body language interpretation,

and personnel training development through 20+ years of combined

experience as a Detective and Police Officer within the New York

City Police Department.

- Risk assessment, coupled with developed intuition. Equally strong

in researching security effectiveness and structure, with ability

to recognize all components of operations where appropriate.

- Demonstrated investigative strategies representing local government

and the public sector providing effective protection. Ability to

develop productive relationships with personnel at all levels among

investigative sources and law enforcement agencies.

- Successful communication with superiors, colleagues, and the

general public.

Since a resume can neither fully detail my many skills and accomplishments

nor predict my potential to your agency, I would welcome the opportunity to

meet and discuss the possible merging of my talents and experience with

your organizational needs.

Very truly yours,

John R. Bakke
