Projects

Project#1

Client: SWISS-COM [TELECOM PROJECT] (SWIZERLAND)

Software: SMALL WORLD, MICROSTATION AND ARC FM UT

Role: GIS ENGINEER

It is the utility Project. The aim of the Project is to convert the Telecom

Information of the whole SWISSCOM to DS format using Small world 4.0 PNI

(Physical Network Inventory). The input provided is in the form of Raster

Images and DS files. The process starts with the reception of data from the

client. The input files are checked in Input Data Validation. The area wise

data base is created in Oracle using the SQL Scripts developed by the Soft

Support. The land base being exported in DXF format from Small-world

Database where the DS files given by the client are loaded. The land base

is used in the production in .dgn format. The received Topographic maps are

rectified in Re-Geo rectification process using Auto-CAD and the

corresponding Terminals Enclosures of the corresponding areas and their

pair connectivity are checked in ISLK integrity checking process. The

overview Grid creation is done for the purpose of reviewing the location of

Topographic Maps. The Process end with the ISLK import and quality check

were the given terminal enclosures are converted into graphical form using

tools in customized microstation called TEEM.

Client: SWD (Mettenmeier Solution) Germany

Software: Small world PNI 4.1

Role: QC Leader

Details: This project helped providing the client infrastructure designing,

safety designing,error detection in different geographical areas. This

project mainly involves capturing the underground electrical features such

as high voltage, UG cables, Middle Volt, Cables, Low Volt, Stations,

electric distributors, house connections from an electrical network through

online with refering to the raster. It is utility project. The aim of the

project is to convert all electrical information of SWD into detail using

the smallworld 4.1 application. The input provided by client is in the form

of raster or dgn. Form Client also provide overview map for all kable

information and all special object .It is online project, this project

belongs to electrical. In this project capture all connection of electrical

with different attribute and different measurement and update attribute

from overview map .This project is done in smallworld software.
