design of M&E system for the new engineering
plastic and resin LAB area retrofitted in the
existing standard building.
The HVAC and utility system for the LAB area
includes ventilation hood exhaust, environment
general exhaust, lab area pressurization
control, make up air treatment, heat recovery
from the exhaust, chilled water system and
retrofitted chiller station, hot water system
and retrofitted heat exchanger station.
The total size of the lab area is about 2700
m2.
Project: Evergreen Wafer Fab project-Wuhan

Duties: Industrial Engineering, Programming, Design
and Services during Construction for a new
Wafer Fab for Photovoltaic battery in Wuhan,
China.
This plant will be part of a larger complex of
facilities dedicated to producing PV battery
products.
The work includes the design of Site work,
Fab, Support Buildings, Central Utility Plant,
and other miscellaneous structures.

Project: Base of Design (BOD) for Applied Material 1
Giga Watt Thin Film PV (Photovoltaic) Project
Title: Mechanical HVAC and Utility Leader
Duties: There are 3 manufacture buildings in this
project.
The production capacity of each manufacture
building is 333MW per year and each building
area is about more than 800,000ft2.
There are 10,000@0.5um cleanliness class clean
room and huge utility system in this project.
The mechanical HVAC and Utility work include
utility matrix analyze, making the load
calculation, major HVAC and utility equipment
(AHU, MAU, process exhaust fan, chiller,
boiler) selection, Process Flow Diagram (PFD),
Equipment layout, ducts and piping layout and
section.
And the work also includes weekly design
meeting with client of Applied Material and
team members.
Project: Qingdao Tenaris Steel Pipe Co. Ltd.
Duties: There is a retrofit design and construction
work for the office area (2000 m2) of Tenaris
project.
Take in charge of the design coordination work
including CSA, HVAC, utility, plumbing and
fire protection, electrical, LSS and I&C
disciplines.
Project: Caterpillar China Machinery Component Co. Ltd,
EPCM Project,
Hydraulic Pumps and Motors project
Operator Station Facility (OSF) project.
Duties: The manufacture area of the OSF project is
about 32000 m2. General ventilation and air
conditioning system is required in the
manufacture area.
The LEED silver certification also is required
by the client.
Project: Century Display project, Shenzhen, China,
Duties: Industrial Engineering, Programming, Design
and Service during Construction for a new
Generation 5 FPD Liquid Crystal Display
Factory in Shenzhen, China.
This plant will be part of a larger complex of
facilities dedicated to producing complete FPD
products.
The major clean area is about more than
70,000m2 which cleanliness class includes 10,
100, 1000 and 10000@0.3 um. And also it
includes the design of Site work, Fab, Support
Buildings, Central Utility Plant, Waste Water
Treatment Plant, and other miscellaneous
structures.
Dedicated design effort has an emphasis on
cost savings and plant manufacturing and
facility efficiency.
Project: Naxin Real Estate Development, Changzhou,
Jiangsu Province, China,
Duties: Design and services during construction (SDC)
for an 8 inch Wafer Fab.
Programming, master planning, conceptual,
preliminary, and detailed design for a green
field Fab at the Changzhou Hi-Tech Industrial
Park, including SDC during the construction
phase.
Scope involves a multi-discipline effort for
the design of a 1,000,000 ft2 factory with an
115,000 ft2 cleanroom.
Project includes a Fab, support building,
central plant, chemical warehouse, office and
cafeteria, and several ancillary facilities
including a bulk gas plant and site
substation.
