SAFELITE

Director Fleet Operations (2012 – 2013)

Directed All Fleet related activities, from vehicle selection to disposal, including monitoring vehicle repair and

maintenance. Managed fuel card program and developed ongoing relationship with numerous Fleet Management

Companies. Managed $500,000 plus Annual Department Budget and $75 Million plus Annual Spend.

• Reduced Fleet size of over 6,000 vehicles to 5,500 vehicles to meet operational needs,

selecting vehicles that met the operational needs as well as providing options that meet

special needs

• Worked with risk management to ensure vehicles were designed to meet field’s ergonomic

requirements

• Managed Total Cost of Ownership data to assist with vehicle selection and life cycle

costs

• Developed a Fleet Preventative Maintenance Program with a specific schedule of

Managed a Fleet of 3600 vehicles with responsibility for vehicle selection, acquisition, upfit, repair

and maintenance and disposal. Managed National Accounts, including contract negotiations,

service level agreements and rebate for companies such as Goodman, Carrier, Honeywell, Cintas

and others.

• Developed vehicle selector options and annual department budget

• Managed the Original Equipment Manufacturer vehicle acquisition purchase process and managed

Led a group of 10 technical specialists to ensure regulatory compliance for 17 states and manage fleet
