Developed and implemented a 3rd-Party logistic model in China. This process

accomplished inventory reductions and an increase in inventory turns by better managing the

final configurations of the items before ocean transport.

The S&OP cycle created a “one number” consensus plan for the Craft Division by

optimizing a demand forecast that facilitated improved sourcing and production planning.

Forecast accuracy improved from 40% to 70%, resulting in lower inventories and lead-time

reduction from suppliers.

developed supplier relationships, and increased profitability.

Forecast and Planning Manager 1998 to 2004

Provided leadership for development of synergetic forecasts for production planning.

Developed and implemented an innovative forecasting system to meet the needs of

products with a short shelf-life. This method used two different forecasting software

packages incorporated into a logic-based Excel spreadsheet with a resulting 20%

reduction of spoils at the retail level.

Successfully implemented production and three-year inventory plan for failing

product category in less than one year with a resulting inventory reduction of 50%

while maintaining a 100% customer service level.
