• Using university employees from China and U.S.,American employees received more
lenient performance ratings from their supervisors than did the Chinese employees.
• American employees were more satisfied with lenient performance appraisal feedback,
Chinese employees were more satisfied with severe performance appraisal feedback.
“Work Environment and Self Development Evaluation”- (Spring 2010)
• Results showed that employees in departments with supervisors from a third party
company had low work satisfaction.
“Work Efficiency in Different Environments” – (Spring 2009)
• Using college students, students in a quiet environment worked significantly better than
those working in an arousal environment.
