JOB PROFILE AT IGI AIRPORT

• Attend All fire fighting and emergency calls at DIAL.

• As an important part of Fire Prevention Team I am also responsible to ensure the safe working

conditions for all hot jobs currently undergoing at DIAL.

• India’s Longest runway inspection carried out and create safe situation for safe landing and take

off.

• Supervision of inspection, maintenance and testing of fire fighting equipments and installations

such as sprinkler system, hydrant network, inert gas purging system and auxiliary gears and

maintaining records of the same.

• Responsible for the testing, maintenance and records of fire extinguishers.

• Coordinating with various departments and conducting Mock Drills and evaluation under the

guidance of CFO.

• Inspection, testing and maintaining records of the same of fixed fire installations such as

sprinklers, FM 200, hydrants, monitors etc.

• Specialization in Testing, Checking & Maintenance of SCBA.

• I am familiar with the functioning of AIRPORT FIRE SERVICE and the sophisticated fire fighting

appliances, equipments and installations at DIAL.

• Supervision of site in accordance with adherence of terms and conditions mentioned in safety

permits.

• Supervision of building and stores as per NBC.
