**/**-*****nt Veteran Print Project Intern (Madison, WI)

This non-profit captures oral histories through art by pairing up veterans and local artists. The project aims to provide the community with a broader understanding of the veteran experience. My internship covers a wide range of responsibilities, including; social media, video production, photography, grant writing, interviewing and entertaining guests at gallery openings.

12/11–Present University Communications Broadcast Intern (Madison, WI)

In conjunction with the Big Ten Network, I strive to give our 40,000+ student body an identity. I take part in various video segments, where I do the behind-the-scenes and on-camera reporting. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to do voiceovers, conduct interviews, act as assistant producer, brainstorm ideas for new videos, write scripts and have input on the overall creative process of production for the homepage of the University of Wisconsin-Madison (wisc.edu).

06/12-08/12 Cramer-Krasselt Ad Agency Brand Planning Intern (Chicago, IL) I helped create a trends database, which compiled trends bubbling up in culture that could be relevant to our clients. I also worked on a 17-person intern project for Cedar Fair amusement parks that was well received by upper management during our final presentation at the end of the summer

My style has always been a way for me to express how I feel. Writing about fashion has allowed me to step into other people’s worlds and understand how they think.

03/11–09/12 Badger Herald Arts Etc. Staff Writer (Madison, WI)

Newspapers survive on deadlines, so writers must, too. The unpredictability and excitement of this job was addicting, turning me into a culture junkie and honing my interviewing skills.

06/11–08/11 OTR Global GmbH Research Intern (Kalchreuth, Germany)

I synthesized confusing and lengthy documents into coherent statements about companies, products and trends. There is always an answer if you search hard enough.
