Project: Production and Quality Validation
Description: Build, Assemble and Delivery of non-abap components for SAP
products such as Netweaver.
Role: Assembly Engineer
Responsibilities
. Responsible for Assembly of SupportPackages and patches for multiple
NW releases and in-time delivery of the same to Service Market Place.
. Contribution on assembly process improvements and worked on SP/Patch
optimization projects. Extensive Assembly consulting for new products
and on maintenance products.
. Responsible for monitoring of nightly builds, error tracking, source
code consolidation wherever necessary, and delivery of SP builds to
internal stakeholders. Represented the face of Assembly team to
other teams and co-ordinated with SP Project Lead and Validation
Project Lead at every milestone.
. Assembly and Release of Patches in Netweaver for different releases.
Delivered 300+ patches on monthly basis to SMP and supported security

Responsibilities
. Responsible for Assembly of products in translation, production,
validation and maintenance phases. Worked on initiating initial &
final code split.
. Performed the complete build setup for the new validation codeline and

translation relevant activities which includes upload the builds to

Description: RICs are Release independent components whose delivery does
not depend on any specific release schedule. These RICs are build and
released based on customer requirements.
Responsibilities
. Assembly Lead for two RIC components (RSC & BPB) and successfully
delivered the RIC to customers and supported the maintenance of the
same
. Responsible for the co-ordination between development and assembly
teams, to understand customer requirements as well as to let them
understand the assembly processes and the feasibility

Description: Assembly DataBase is an internal tool which is developed in
.Net and MSSQL. This tool development and support is to automate the
assembly processes.

expert, helped the assembly team to achieve the SP/Patch delivery
effeciently.
. Developed several features in the PPD (Patch production database) part
of the tool which enhances the automation of the assembly processes
such as data inconsistency root cause identification and solution,
Automatic filling of delivery object details, Auto mail trigger during
validation and delivery of packages, Automatic creation of delivery
objects etc.
. Experience in working with Scrum methodology and JIRA for tracking and

Project: Patch Process Optimization
Description: Netweaver is one of the most complex product of SAP. Due to
its architectural complexity, Netweaver contains 60+ components per
release/SP. As there is always maintenance increase, number of patch
requests increased drastically. This optimization project evolved in
order to cope up the maintenance increase easily and to utilize the man
hours to other tasks
Responsibilities
. Responsible for extraction of exception list for patch processing.
. Created bat file scripts and created schedule tasks with the bat files
accordingly, for automatic triggering of patch process
. Build monitoring responsible on daily basis from deliverable
perspective and analyzed the number of patches processed against the
time consumed on daily basis. This before and after reports helped in
analyzing the optimization results
. Adding/Removing the projects from the groups in every release of
patching and SP codelines

Project: VAL Optimization
Description: Validation phase is an important Q-gate in the PIL, wherein
the codesplit happens from the development codelines to the delivery
codelines. From there on happens production, translation, validation,
delivery and maintenance. During D2P, assembly team performs lots of
manual steps for setting up the new codeline which involves lots of effort
and chances of errors. This project is conceived for automating and
optimizing the manual tasks.
Responsibilities
. Responsible for creating a complete list of steps performed during D2P
phase (After CC till RTC) . Performed detailed analysis on the
feasible steps for automation. Ensured the automation is scalable
across multiple NW releases.
. Completely responsible for writing perl programs with xml inputs in
order to automate the manual changes done on several files maintained
in perforce. Ensured the script execution edit/create the necessary
file, made changes automatically and submits the file back to perforce
with a valid changlist number.
. Created How-to documentation for the script files and on script
execution as well.

Responsibilities
. Responsible for co-ordinating with subteam responsible as well as
global responsibles across locations for segregation of
internal/external topics, timeline, content, topics, responsibilities
etc.
. Created all the required pages with format in place. Created WBS and
assigned to the teammates with deadlines. Co-ordinated within my team
for getting the content maintained in place

Project: Business Process Performance Monitoring Tool
Description: This tool is part of the new ERP product, SAP Business
ByDesign, developed by SAP R&BI aimed primarily at SME sector. This
product is based on Business Process Platform and follows the Service
Oriented Architecture. Under this project, we worked on the development of
a generic monitoring tool to supervise and analyze proactive core business
processes of an enterprise. It is specially designed to close critical
information gaps across processes and create a "virtual process layer"
across the enterprise.
Responsibilities
. Designed Business Objects, Transformed and Controller Object in the
ESR (Enterprise Service Repository) and implemented the Business
Objects using BOPF.
. Designed and implemented Process Agents (Outbound and Inbound Process
Agents) using SAP XI. Implemented BADI for Generic Calculation of
Key Performance Indicators.
. Designed and implemented Info Objects and Info Providers in SAP
Business Intelligence.
Project: Adaptability/Extensibility Project
Description: The goal of the project was to validate the
Extensibility/Adaptability usecases in respect to UI/Reports/Forms in a
real system. This is intended for Composite Development as well as Service
factory colleagues.
