with approved test reports, for easy follow-up of project progress.
Influence Contractors working on site to ensure YLNG Standards are
maintained in respect to HSE. Maintain up to date appreciation of HSE
requirements thro' YLNG's HSE Training.
? Facilitate construction of LNG Plant checking compliance with detailed
engineering, contracts, schedule & safety.
? Monitor the Mechanical Packages erection and interfaces: Monitor the
progress & the technical decisions taken during project execution,
liaising with Senior Rotating Equipment Specialists., Comment
acceptability of the deviation / relaxation or clarification by
Contractors., Assist as appropriate the other discipline YLNG Specialists.
? Attend Technical discipline meeting with Contractors & YLNG Specialists
as and when required.
? Contribute to smooth completion prior hand-over to Operation Team., Co-
ordinate with Field Operational Start-Up
Team for smooth hand over without any spurious shut down or safety
related issues during start-up.
? Liaison with Vendors., GE / Nuavo Pignone, Elliott, MAN Turbo, Siemens,
APCI, Bono Energia Boilers, Flow Serve /
Sundyne / Nikkiso / Patterson / Weir / KSB Pumps, FMC Tech LNG Loading
Arms, Italkranes, Pre-heaters,
Air Blast Fin-Fan Heat Exchangers for the initial run of the related
Equipments and for the site performance test. Monitor EPC Contractor
construction and commissioning deliverables, check they comply with
project requirements & standards. Review of RFC Dossiers and preparation
of RFSU (Ready for Start-Up) documents.
? Ensure proper reporting to the Senior Rotating Equipment Specialists and
Head of Specialists and propose remedies.
? Contribute to improving the project lessons learnt and staff capability
within the YEMENLNG Project.
? Contribute to the advancement of methods and tools within the specialty
through the ongoing Company projects.
? Monitor Yemen LNG Documentation & update it accordingly with DCC. To act
and cope up with challenging schedule
with negligible flexibility of the Joint Venture Project controlled by
the EPC Contractor (KBR - TECHNIP : YEMGAS).
? Ensure that delivered equipment's cope with the Project requirements and
will allow an Optimized & safe operation
of the Plant during all its 25 years of lift-time.

? Supervise the schedule of commissioning of mechanical systems (Turbo-

Equipment) in order to reach the planned end date with the required work
quality.
? Follow up the preparation of Pre-commissioning / Commissioning Mechanical
Procdures and reporting tools (including Technical database, planning,
punch list control) and the requisition for material, equipment,
consumables and spare parts of the mechanical systems (Turbo-generators,
Compressors and Rotating Equipment) and to review the commissioning
dossiers and in particular the Operational Test Procedures related to
Turbine, Compressors, Sub-sea Pumps, Water Injection Pumps, Diesel Engine
Generators, Life-boat & davits, Air Blast Fin-Fan Heat Exchangers,
Rotating Equipment and the Mechanical Checks & Test Sheets.
? Support and enforce the HSEQ PROJECT Objectives & Directives.
? Support & Implement the Project HSEQ Management Plans, Procedures and
Specifications. Promote HSEQ behavior
within the Commissioning activities and verifies that HSE Procedures are
implemented by Commissioning team.
