• Sourced out and found supplier for grinding wheels for glass with higher quality material. Obtained
samples from vendor in order to perform compatibility study and life cycle testing for product.
After acceptance I obtained lower cost for material with better delivery to plant which lead to 30% cost
savings on material. Ending result was all a 15% increase in parts as well as quality of parts. Scrap
was reduced to less than 5%.
