Thoroughbred owner/ trainer. Racing at Tampa Bay Downs in Tampa, Florida and Colonial Downs in

Virginia where we scored 100% on the board at the 2011 meet . Hands on trainer with extensive

experience in the horse industry. Duties include nutritional feeding program, worming, inoculations,

recognizing illness or injury before they become major problems. Bandaging, administering medications,

etc.

Duties Included foaling out mares, collecting stallions, breeding mares via AI. Keeping records for

foaling and breeding plus a natural approach to handling all foals in my care. We delivered 63 foals and

operated on a 3000 acre privately owned ranch. Also responsible for preparing the feeding formulas for

all mares, foals and ranch horses. Vaccinating, worming, castrating and branding were also included in

my duties.

Training and racing Thoroughbred race horses. Developed and managed a public stable of race horses in

Michigan. Racing mostly in Detroit at DRC, Ohio, Illinois and Minnesota. Ranked among the top 10

trainers at DRC. Hands on trainer, mucked stalls, bandaged legs, feeding formulas, entered appropriate

races, managed employees, payroll, workers compensation, and kept a close eye on every horse that went

to the track as well as observing daily behaviors to meet each horses individual needs.
