SECTION FOREMAN
Outby Work-my main objective was to make sure that the sections got supplied in a timely manner and
also if any rollers needed changed on the belts make sure they also got changed in a timely manner for
the section to run.
SECTION BOSS
Had a 11 man crew, my main objective was to run as much coal as possible and to keep my men as safe
as possible. Also construct belt and power moves when the section was ready and correct any problems
that may occur and keep my section violation free.
ASSISTANT SHIFT FOREMAN
Main objective was to line up the shift. Make sure all motormen had motors for outby work. Make sure
all sections were fully staffed and take care of any problems that may occur.

I was a minor operator for 2 yrs. “place mining” then for the next 3 yrs. I was a roof bolter. Then I left
and went to McElroy where I roof bolted for 1 yr. in 2005 to 2006 . Then I took a bossing job from
2006 to present day.
