Objective:
I hope to contribute to the Nursing profession by helping improve the
quality of nursing care and practices.
Qualifications
I Have worked in many areas of nursing. I chose to diversify my skill
level to better understand the nursing field. I started working in a
MAF facility with nursing home attached. E.R experience in this
facility as well. I have worked in several emergency room's and ICU
departments, from Poplar Montana to Albuquerque NM. With flight
nursing experience in NM. for Labor and Delivery. For 3.5 years I
have worked for Shodair Children's Hospital in the capacity of a unit
manager. In this position I was responsible for all functions on the
unit for patient care safety and maintenance as well as on call
administration . In the position I was asked to serve the hospital as
acting D.O.N for seven months. Also worked as D.O.N for Evergreen in
Clancy Montana before going to Broadwater to work in the ER and
then Chief nursing officer where I have been for over 6 years.

Relevant Experience
Loveless Hospital I worked as a Labor and Delivery Nurse in a high
risk LDRP unit. This position included all aspects for nursing care
and Delivery of High risk pregnancy's and Mother Baby dyad. I was
trained in flight nursing for high risk mothers and Infants. Also
circulated C-sections and recovered patients before readmission to the
unit.
Poplar Hospital from 1997 to 1998 I was a charge nurse in a small but
very busy hospital. We had multiple rapes, stabbings, gun shots, car
accidents and assaults. Also while on duty as charge for the ER, Med
surge, ICU and L&D nurse you were responsible for the attached
Nursing Home.
Benefis Hospital in Great Falls MT form 1998 to 2000 I worked in L&D,Newborn Nursery, NICU, PICU, PEDS, ICU, and Post Partum care. We
were required to float to all these areas, to maintain competency.
Missouri River Manor Night Supervisor of 250 bed nursing home.
Responsible for all staffing needs and patient care. Needed to be
familiar with State REGS and local laws for long term care. Worked 12
hour shifts in addition to working at Benefis Hospital from 1998 to
2000.
Shodair Hospital from 2001 to 2-07-2005, Unit manager in charge of
all nursing care of psychiatric children including staffing,
budgeting, training on nursing practices, diabetes training
competencies in nursing function. Responsible for outcome of JCAHO
surveys and Champus surveys also administration on call status for
the hospital for all off hours. Was promoted to acting Director of
nursing in this status for seven months until a D.O.N. could be found.
Evergreen healthcare Clancy Montana, the D.O.N for a 60 bed long-term
care facility. Responsible for all aspects of nursing practice in the
facility. Directly responsible to Sheri Jensen Executive Director.
Broadwater Healthcare center in Townsend MT Cheif nursing officer.
Working in the acute care setting, including ER, promoted to Chief
nursing officer after 4.5 years. In charge of the medical floor
Nursing home and Emergency Room . All nursing functions including
evaluations Hiring, Training, Quality, risk management and
disciplinary action. Responsible for all state regulations and
compliance of nursing staff practices in the building.
Other Experience
I have taken ACLS, NRP, CPR -PALSs, TNCC and First Aid,
I also have training and certificates in Diabetes education.
