. Played a key role via acquisitions and raising capital in transforming
KPP from a small pipeline into the third largest independent terminaling
operation in the world with market capitalization increasing by over $2
billion to $2.8 billion since 1990. Valero acquired KPP in 2005.
. Identified, analyzed, performed due diligence, negotiated, and closed
over $1 billion in acquisitions including $278 million for 4 pipelines
and over $730 million for various storage terminals.
. Negotiated and secured the initial public offering for KPP, numerous
revolving credit agreements, $128 million private placement of mortgage
notes, 6 equity secondary offerings totaling over $400 million, and $500
million in public debt.
. Developed financial story, prepared slides, and made presentation to all
three debt rating agencies resulting in investment grade rating.

for KPP's 18 product terminals creating $8 million in incremental annual
revenue. Worked with outside counsel in filing successful lawsuits in
protest of Williams Pipe Line's ratemaking methodology.
. Provided successful testimony as an expert witness to the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission (FERC) for market-based tariffs in 1998 with regard
to pipeline tariffs concerning FERC Opinions 154-B and 154-C.

company from Wall Street analysts.

. Provided analytical support to Kaneb Services that transformed the
financially distressed energy company into a diversified services company
through a $500 million debt restructure involving downsizing,
reorganization and acquisitions. (KSI share price increased over 400% in
four years.)
. Successfully liquidated Kaneb Energy Partners, L.P. by selling its oil
and gas properties for $130 million with cash proceeds exceeding
expectations by $20 million.
. Developed structure and story to spin product pipe line segment out in an
initial $110 million public offering using master limited partnership
format. (KPP traded as a stand alone entity on the NYSE.)
