over 1000 square acres over 3 months.
• Assisted in the harvest of saguaro cactus fruit with Hopi Indians, picked and

National Park.
• Collected data from dedicated fire plots and extrapolated data to determine rates at
which potential fires would overtake the area.
• Established new research plots within the parks to use for studying regeneration
rates of future invasive species.
