Responsibilities:
Soft copies (consumer details, DTR details,HT,LT details) are distributed
to the team members to enter the data in MS-Excel.
Grid downloaded from FTP (.dwg file) is converted to KML/KMZ file.
As per the Grid Images are cut from Google Pro and saved in JPG format.
Saved images are rectified in Global Mapper 10(as per allotted area).
After rectification we assign X, Y co-ordinates to the image i.e. Geo-
processing.
Images are attached to the grid through Raster manager using MicrostationV8
software.
Attached images are digitalized using Vectorizer,Offset and centre line
tools.
Pole GPS points are converted to shape file. This data is imported to Arc
map 9.3 software.
By Referring SLD copies we create the Electrical Network in Arc Map.
Network attributes (data base) entered in the Ms-Excel are assigned to the
network.
This how we develop and implement the customized application software.
Project# 2:
Title: LIDAR DATA PROCESSING - SKYITE
Description:
The main objective of this project is to reclassify required non-ground
points to ground class and vegetation, building and bridges to non-ground
classes.
The key objective of this project involved the extraction of Ground
features and editing the Terrascan this output to generate ASCII grid
format at 01cm resolution. The provided LIDAR data had low points and air
points filtered and the ground classified using Terrascan.
However the data required validation and editing to produce a first pulse
DSM (an all features model) and last pulse DTM (bare earth model).
