Description: Performed specialty gas cylinder change outs; electronic &

mechanical maintenance on the gas panels and the PLC controllers for the

customer.

Primary duties: Repair & maintenance of various equipment involving pumps,

motors, valves, electrical components, PLC controls. I performed system

calibrations on all measurement equipment, system troubleshooting,

preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, Lockout/Tag-out protocol,

and component change out.

I interfaced with an ALLEN BRADLEY 5/40 PLC, for monitoring, &

changing command functions in the ladder logic or operational commands

-associated with the UHP Nitrogen Air-Separation Plant. I interfaced with a

GE-Fanuc PLC, related to changing out spent (empty) specialty gas

cylinders. I conducted product inventory, shipping & receiving, storage,

warehousing & transport.

I generated & maintained engineering reports and daily pass downs,

using MS Word/Excel/Power Point/ & Access. All actions conducted in

accordance with all Safety protocols and S.O.P's, proper Electrical /

Mechanical Lockout / Tag-out protocols within all company safety program

guidelines.

Equipment: Air compressors & dryers; Steam boilers, purifiers, analyzers,

gas distribution panels & cabinets.

Hydrogen, Argon, Nitrogen & Oxygen bulk gas systems; hazardous materials &

waste. Allen Bradley and GE PLC equipment, portable engineering laptop

with proprietary software.

I directed gas turbine maintenance outages, as the Project-Mechanical

Engineer/Technical Advisor, on the dis-assembly, component refurbish /

replacement & re-assembly of the listed GT engines. Supervised & directed

craft labor (maintenance crews') progress, evaluated project cost, manpower

& staffing. Supervised PLC controls Interface for software upgrades and

modifications, Instrument/Electrical & Control operations or program

upgrades during Combustion Inspections, Hot Gas Path Inspections, & Major

Overhaul Outages, within safety program.
