YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: A combined total of 17 years. The breadth of work I
have completed has given me a wealth of varied practical experience.
COMPUTER-BASED EXPERIENCE:
1. Working as a fulltime iSeries Programmer/Analyst at Ruan
Transportation, Inc. from May 2009 to Present.
iSeries Programmer/Analyst Duties include:
a. Programming and analysis in RPG IV ILE on an iSeries.
b. Modification of existing software, RTMS

b. Handle iSeries questions and problems as needed
2. Worked as a contractor at EMCO Specialties, Inc. from Nov. 2008 to
May 2009.
iSeries Contractor Programmer/Analyst Duties include:
a. iSeries programming and analysis in RPG IV ILE on an
iSeries.
b. Custom programs for window and door manufacturing
c. Modification of existing software, BPCS
d. New program design and implementation
3. Worked at Fiserv, Inc. from January 2008 to August 2008.
Business Analyst/System Administration and Programming Duties
included:
iSeries programming and analysis in RPG IV ILE on an iSeries.

c. Launched and set up brand new system for Fiserv's first-ever
iSeries client.

4. Worked at Electrolux, Inc. from May 2005 to January 2008

and user support both locally and nationally.
5. Worked at Wright Tree Service, Inc. from October 2004 to March 2005.

AS/400 programming and analysis in RPG IV ILE on an AS/400.
a. Modifications and fixes for programs and procedures according to
client specifications
b. Created custom programs for the billing and accounting departments
c. Headed the upgrade process from old release to the newest release.
6. Worked at McLeodUSA Publishing, Inc. from April 2003 to September
2004.

(Telephone and Information Billing System) team.

8. Worked at ASCEND Technologies, Inc. for 3 1/2 years as a computer
programmer/analyst from December 1998 to July 2002.

RPG/400, CL, SDA, EDI, and database design in the ISERIES environment
< Used COBOL for various billing tasks

< Running and distributing daily, weekly and monthly reports
< Data entry of customer master, inventory adjustments, and billing
< Installation of hardware and software on IBM compatibles

< Worked with the conversion team to move from our old software package
to new J.D. Edwards package
< Excelling in all computer courses with a "hands-on" approach in
Midrange Systems, specifically iSeries and RPG/400.
10. Worked in the Data Processing Department at the Quad City Times
SPECIAL PROJECTS:
< Set up Fiserv's first-ever iSeries system for clients
< IBM Certification for iSeries RPG IV Programmer
< Attended COMMON (EDI conference) in San Antonio, Texas in October of
1999.
< Wrote several large reporting programs for a client's specifications that
involved several different product systems (Pledges, Gifts, Planned
Gifts).
< Wrote the CAE's (Council for Aid to Education) VSE (Voluntary Support of
Education) report. (This is a specific document used to report an
organization fund-raising activity).
< Wrote programs to calculate an entity's pledge outstanding balance as of
a date entered.
< Worked on fixes for product in all systems and also created specialized
program modifications to product on clients' systems.
< Worked on merging new product code to clients' older version while
creating specialized program modifications.
