checking such references as out-for-repair, issue, and tu rn-in records maintained in the
tools and parts room. I ensure that tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
by performing visual and operating checks, taking measurements with such devices as
calipers, and receiving reports from users on the nature and extent of damage to tools and
equipment. Determine stock replenishment levels for centrally controlled supplies and other

I have the proper knowledge of determining when a tool or piece of equipment needs to be
sent for testing or be repaired. I have the ability to operate computer equipment to
accomplish my duties as a tool and parts attendant. I have the knowledge to do research as

to specified locations in I raq, Kuwait and Afghanistan. Use the ATICTS system on a daily

Transport empty t railer from River Valley Plant to various Tyson Plant locations
and return loaded t railer from Tyson Plant to River Valley Plant. Occasionally
needed to pull a tank of fat or a hopper bottom t railer, when over the road drivers need
help. I performed a wide range of duties associated with the receipt, storage, and issue of
various classes of supplies and equipment. I ensured proper establishment and
maintenance of accountability during the receipt, storage, and issue of i t. I ensured that
safety procedures are observed at all times, wore protective clothing and used protective

(trucks) from 1 1/2 to 5 ton with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 33,000 pounds or
more. I understand and performed proper Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services,
(PMCS) on the 350, 600, 1250 GPM t ransfer pumps, and the 800 GPM mainline pumps.
I have the ability to maintain and operate the pumps. I have a good working knowledge
of the Inland Petroleum Distribution System, (IPDS) to include dispatching procedures,
fill and testing of the pipeline, scraper operations, construction of pipeline, terminals,
and pump stations and emergency repair procedures. I adhere to a strict quality control
program by correctly identifying and storing all petroleum products to include waste
oil. I am HAZ-MAT t rained in proper receipt, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
I Draw samples from storage tanks of fuel to be submit ted to the laboratory for analysis.
I periodically submit samples of packaged lubricants to laboratory reports. I maintain
minimum water bottoms in storage tanks by gauging tanks daily or as required by
established
procedures. I police storage areas daily and keeps buildings, equipment, and tools
clean. I controlled vegetation growth in the storage areas. I report when maintenance
of fences, signs, etc. is necessary. I conducted physical inventories of all fuels,
oils, and related products by measuring with gage stick and or tape and bob method.
I assisted in liaison visits to other POL sites to perform inspection of tanks for
acceptable standards, etc.1 e.g., proper marking danger signs fuel t rucks, etc. I
made an informal or formal report to appropriate individual of deficiencies etc.,
found and corrections needed. I received and t ransferred petroleum products from
commercial
tank t rucks, pipeline, hose line to storage tank. I checked receiving documents on
incoming shipments for proper identification of fuel and destination of shipment,
identifies and checks seals, gages, tanks for amount of fuel and water content, takes
and observes fuel samples from each compartment of tank to determine the grade of
fuel and sediment content of fuel. I selected the correct storage tank that connects
tank t ruck to fill line by means of a hose. I selected and opened valves so that
fuel shipment can be pumped or drained into the storage tank. I prepared empty tank t ruck
for release by checking compartments for emptiness closing all valves and removing the
d rain hose. I completed and signed fuel receipt checklist. I delivered bulk fuel
as required utilizing and operating fuel tanker t ruck with a Gross Vehicle Weight
(GVW) of 33,000 pounds or more, pipeline, hose lines.
