Check the vital signs of the OB/GYNE,PEDIA

patients and promptly report any abnormalities and complaints to the

medical resident on duty.

. Vigilant in assessing patients in serious condition so that

needed intervention can be quickly given.

. Giving of medications,making sure you have the five rights of

medicine administration is observed.

. Effieciently carry out doctor's order.

. Changing IV cannula after 3 days since the cannula was first

inserted.Assesing if any cannulas are already out of vein and

needed to be changed.

. Assisting NGT insertion as per physicians order,observing for

proper placement and always checking for patency after each

insertion.

. Turning of bedridden every two hourly and observance of proper

bowel care.

. .Perform proper suctioning of patient who are intubated.

. Attends to patient needs and provide emotional supprt in

appropriate therapeutic manner.

. Charts /documents all nursing cares,interventions and procedures

done to the patient.

. Do discharge planning and summary for patients going home

including their next OPD appointment.

. Assist doctors during rounds and when performing diagnostic
