JOB PROFILE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Present Employer: Siemens Energy Division, Middle East, Dubai, UAE.

Designation: Resident Engineer at WESCO (Turbine workshop Manager) Sept 2007 onward

As Resident Engineer at WESCO (Siemens approved turbine workshop) Abu Dhabi, I

supervise overhauling (including dynamic balancing of Rotors) of Siemens Gas Turbines. The

process involves Dismantling of Turbines, Blast cleaning of components, NDT Inspection and

Preparation of Strip Report, preparation list of required Spares, Preparation of pricing schedules,

quote to the customers, Final build/Assembly of Core and Power Turbine Assemblies and

preparation of service/overhaul report. I am also controlling day to day activities of approx 18

Engineers and Technicians in WESCO workshop in turbine section.

In field Service, Duties include Installation & Commissioning of SGT range of Gas

Turbines including associate skid assemblies of (Ruston) TA, TB5000, SGT100, 200, 300 & 400

range of Gas Turbines. Working on-site throughout the world in various demanding

environments both on-shore and off-shore. Team leader for field service Engineers/technicians

and local maintenance support personnel. Strong customer communication skills. Completing

inspection work packs and report writing. I have Substantial experience of various permits to

work systems throughout the Oil & Gas installations.

I am responsible for Planning of workshop loading and planning for upcoming projects in

the WESCO/Siemens LLC.

I am also responsible to analyze the defect investigation / defect rectification work on site

requested by customers in Middle East on Gas Turbine packages.

I have completed the Overhauling, Installation & Commissioning of Gas Turbine and

Compressor packages on sites namely ZADCO at onshore Arzanah Island and offshore CC

Complex, TOTAL ABK Offshore, UAE, Bahrain National Gas Onshore, ONGC at offshore

India, Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait, Occidental Offshore Qatar and Qatar Petroleum Offshore,

Qatar.

Completed the ‘B&C; Type service of Six in number TB5000 Ruston Gas Turbines at Shakier

facility, Bahrain National Gas, Bahrain.

Completed Core Change and HP Rotor Blade set change on site and Hot path inspection/ hot end

components for many times at Total ABK, Abu Dhabi Offshore, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

I have completed several “C” Type Inspections of TB 5000 SGT at Occidental and Qatar

Petroleum offshore at Qatar. Hot path Inspection and vibration survey on SGT100 on Qatar Gas

unit at Offshore Qatar.

I was in capacity to take decisions to undertake projects for Overhauling / servicing of all

types of Rotating Equipment which includes: High Pressure Methanol Injection & Chemical

Injection Pumps, Seawater Lift Pumps, Seawater Booster Pumps, Flare Drum Pumps, Air

Compressor Package, Air Blowers, Air Winches, Hydro cyclone pump, Hydrochloride dosing

MANWEIR. We were also undertaking the repairs of BOPs (single & double ram), IBOP, and
