was directly proportional to the performance of these two.

GPS increased in size and functionality over the period of time.

Increase in the amount of data was causing lots of data load issues.

WWSAS has also increased in the size as a result of addition of new

entities over a period of time. Also WWSAS has region wise data loads

those takes place in a sequential manner. Both these have an impact on

data load efficiency and maintenance that goes into it.

Project: GLASS Bulk Rate Project Duration: Apr 2005 -

Feb 2006

Location: Secundrabad, India

Customer: GEMB, Austria

GEMB Austria borrows money from financial markets at a cost (base

rate) and in turn lends it to its customer at a cost (base rate) plus

margin. Whenever there is an increase or decrease in the market-

lending rate, the bank passes this variation to the customers. As it

is not cost-effective for the bank to pass every small variation in

the lending rates, it is done on a periodic basis. Bulk Rate is the

process of changing the rate of interest and calculation of

installment for the loan agreements as per the change in the borrowing

rate and local government policy. This involves huge computations and

change in data. BRC activity is a complex functionality area in the
